Marilyn D. Davis is a seasoned strategist, specializing in advocacy, organizing, and community engagement. With a diverse career encompassing employment with federal and state governments, organized labor, electoral and issue campaigns, as well as in corporate America. She recently launched a public affairs firm on May 5, 2024. Her firm specializes in government affairs, political consulting, stakeholder engagement, and strategic partnerships. Prior to this venture, Ms. Davis spent nearly a decade as a senior government affairs director in the telecommunications industry.
Prior to her corporate work, she served as the national director of Community Engagement at the Democratic National Committee until December 2016, leading a team focused on engaging stakeholders across various communities in electoral politics and civic engagement. During the Obama/Biden Administration, she held a political appointee position at the United States Department of Labor, where she managed labor and African American engagement and served as the deputy director of the office of Public Engagement.
